About Design Your Own

We're a personalised gift studio in Rawalpindi. Everything sold on this site is printed, engraved or assembled by us, in our own workshop on Bank Road in Saddar. We're not a marketplace and we don't drop-ship — when you order a mug with your daughter's photo on it, someone here prints that mug.

That shapes everything about how this works. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be sold, because nothing exists until you order it. It also means we get exactly one chance to spell a name correctly, which is why every design comes back to you for approval before it goes anywhere near a machine.

The range has grown to more than 1,600 designs — name plates for houses and offices, engraved wallets, name jewellery in English and Urdu, photo mugs, wall clocks, LED frames and lamps, apparel, and the awards, badges and desk plates that companies order. Some of it is decorative. A good deal of it — a nameplate for a new house, a bracelet with a child's name on it, a shield for someone's last day at work — ends up mattering rather more than what we charged for it.

More than 14,000 orders have left this workshop. The largest share go to Islamabad and Rawalpindi, then Karachi and Lahore, but we deliver to every city in Pakistan at a flat Rs 399, with cash on delivery on every order.

If you don't have a design, that isn't a problem and it doesn't cost extra. Send us a photo, a logo or a rough idea on WhatsApp and we'll put something together for you to approve. We engrave Urdu in Nastaliq as standard. For companies ordering in quantity we quote directly rather than making you work it out from a price list.
