Name Plates

We have been cutting and engraving name plates in our own Rawalpindi workshop since 2019. Everything on this page is made to order. Nothing is stock, and nothing is cut or engraved until you have approved the design we send back to you.

What we make them from

Acrylic is the most common choice and the easiest to live with. We cut it at 8mm and mount the lettering as raised 3D text, so the name stands off the face and throws a small shadow. The colour pairs people order most are black and gold, black and silver, black and white, white and gold, silver and black, and grey and white.

Solid wood and Lasani suit older houses and wooden doors. We either engrave straight into the wood or fix 3D acrylic letters on top of it, which reads well from a distance and survives sun better than paint.

Brass is the heaviest and most formal option — engraved, in gold or silver finish, usually at 12x6 inches. It is what people choose for a doctor's or lawyer's plate, and it is the one that still looks right in twenty years.

Stainless steel we supply as individual 3D letters and numbers, fixed directly to the wall or gate rather than to a backing plate. Good for modern facades and for house numbers that need to be read from the street.

LED plates are backlit acrylic, single or double sided, for gates and reception walls. The largest we make runs to 3x2 feet.

Sizes

12x6 inches is the standard house plate and the size most people want. For larger gates and boundary walls we go up through 18x9, 12x12, 12x18, 16x16, 24x12 and on to 2x1, 2x2 and 3x2 feet. Desk and cabin plates are smaller — usually 12x4, 12x5 or 12x6 — and sit on a metal or wooden stand.

Mounting

Wall plates can be fixed flat, standoff-mounted so they sit a few millimetres proud of the wall, or hung. Desk plates come with a stand; some include a pen holder in the base. Tell us which you want and we will supply the right fixings.

Urdu

We engrave in Urdu Nastaliq as well as English. Send us the exact spelling you want — Urdu especially, where a single character changes the word — and check it carefully on the design we send back. That proof is the moment to catch it.

Prices, delivery and lead time

Most name plates fall between Rs 1,600 and Rs 5,000. Solid brass and the larger solid-wood pieces run higher. Delivery is Rs 399 flat anywhere in Pakistan with cash on delivery, and you should allow 3–7 working days for us to make your plate plus 3–7 working days for the courier.
