Acrylic Name Plates

Acrylic is what most people end up choosing, and for good reason: it takes colour well, it does not warp or fade the way painted board does, and a wipe with a damp cloth is the whole of its maintenance.

We cut ours at 8mm, which is thick enough for the lettering to be raised as separate 3D text rather than printed flat. That small depth is most of the difference between a plate that looks made and one that looks stuck on.

The two-tone pairs are the most ordered — black and gold, black and silver, black and white, black and grey, white and gold, silver and gold, silver and black. We also cut frosted acrylic, which suits an office wall better than gloss, and clear acrylic for standoff-mounted signs where the wall shows through behind the letters.

Sizes run from 12x6 inches through 18x9, 12x12, 12x18, 16x16 and 24x12, up to 2x1, 2x2 and 3x2 feet. LED versions are backlit and available single or double sided.
